It was sung by one of the  most renowned OPM singer and guitarist in the Philippines and she isMs. Aiza Seguerra. The song was composed by Mr. Lucio San Pedro in the year 1943. I chose this song because it kinda help me to reminisce my memories when I was just a little boy. I love the song because it talks about my mother's unending love and care that is started when I was just a little child. I also love the idea being brought up by the song because it somehow represents our filipino culture. We filipino really loves our mother a lot because our mother is our comfort especially in times of hardships in life. In this life we face a lot of problems, sufferings, and hardships. because of these things, we often get tired living in this world. In these times we often long for the lullabies of our mother.
